Weekend Recap

A beautiful weekend means enjoying the sun, loving the shade, really good ice cream, being exhausted from a relaxing day at the beach, exploring abandoned buildings, making big plans, enjoying lovely handmade gifts from friends (thanks for the shirts, Sarah! xo), filling up with brioche bread pudding, then brioche French toast, and then brioche egg sandwiches, a bustling Farmers’ Market, hand painting signs, and late walks at night to enjoy a pitcher of Sangria with friends.

I am welcoming the chaos of the week ahead – the week ahead means navigating many fun projects and events, all the while balancing a sense of fun as I remind myself that all the chaos and stress is comprised of things I love and projects I’m passionate about, together with people and places I adore.  Good news – one of the amazing things to fill up this week with would be the second appearance of Whisk Bakeshop at the farmers’ market this Saturday!  Come one, come all!  Get those croissants while the gettin’ is good.  I guess that means until we sell out.

How was your weekend?  How’s your week ahead shaping up?
