Hello! It’s Fall!
I must say I’ve been enjoying the blogging break, but it feels great to check in here. I’m writing so, so, so much and enjoying the spoils of fall cooking and baking! Apple crisps, donuts, soups! So many soups!
I’m working on the new blog, as well as so many fun projects I’m eager to share! Until then, here’s what fall looks like around here. I had a great time shooting with film again, and explaining to a three-year-old and four-year-old why they couldn’t see the picture on the camera every time I took a photo. I’ve forgotten how amazing the quality of film is. Here are some unedited photos I’m in love with.
AND! The best part of film – the mystery roll that had been sitting in the camera for years. I had no clue what I’d find once I printed them off. TA-DA! An entire roll of adorable Baby Jack!!!!

I’m navigating my way through the amazing cookbook “Tartine” written by the geniuses behind the delicious San Francisco bakery. Now happily living in Michigan with my family, I miss the days when I could stand in line at the bakery in the morning, or grab a loaf of bread for dinner at a friend’s house. Miles and miles removed, I sometimes even find myself dreaming of sweet fruit galletes or a simple brioche. Seeing how I wake up bummed, I’m bound and determined to make every single thing, page 1 to 214, but not necessarily in that order.

Gorgeous fall photos!! Baby Jack mystery roll photos are the best kind of find! He’s so sweet
Lovely photos! And Baby Jack is ADORABLE!
Love your fall photos! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying this lovely season
