Blogs I love
As I’ve ventured into the Land of Blogs, I am constantly inspired and encouraged by what other bloggers are doing. I love to know what other people are reading, and so I thought I’d share a few food-centric blogs here and there that I love, and even get strangely giddy over when I see a new post. There are so many more that I enjoy, but here’s a good place to start:

Or, how about ‘Simply My Favorite’?! I am such a sucker for the morning light, and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Apparently the same can be said for Jen Causey, who is amazing at what she does. She’s a beautiful writer, as well, which is always an important tool for a blogger. She’s teaching a workshop class in Italy on photography in October, which sounds magical!

They don’t claim to be the best cooks in the world, they actually say that in their bio. But, their photos make me hungry and I would love to share a table with them and eat anything they make. Seriously beautiful food, photos, and such fun recipes I’m excited to try. If a flight to Australia weren’t so pricey, I’d show up on their doorstep. But that’s crazy, so I probably wouldn’t even if a flight there was cheap. (I’d send an advance notice via email)

101 Cookbooks (a blog by Heidi Swanson)

I love this lady I’ve never met! It’s almost embarrassing how lost I can get on her website – you can search through her recipes by season! How brilliant is that?! Her photos show a beautiful ease and calmness that makes me think she speaks very softly. I could live in her kitchen. I would store a cot in a cupboard, and would have access to some delicious midnight snacks.
I’m navigating my way through the amazing cookbook “Tartine” written by the geniuses behind the delicious San Francisco bakery. Now happily living in Michigan with my family, I miss the days when I could stand in line at the bakery in the morning, or grab a loaf of bread for dinner at a friend’s house. Miles and miles removed, I sometimes even find myself dreaming of sweet fruit galletes or a simple brioche. Seeing how I wake up bummed, I’m bound and determined to make every single thing, page 1 to 214, but not necessarily in that order.
